No—these classes are educational and play-based, designed to support your child’s development and give you tools and confidence along the way. While they’re led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy, they are not a substitute for therapy services.
These classes are designed to give you helpful insight into your child’s development while offering guidance and reassurance along the way. Every child develops at their own pace, and many parents leave feeling more confident in what they’re seeing and how to support next steps at home.
Every child develops differently, and that’s completely okay. Classes are designed to meet children where they are, with gentle guidance to support their next steps—without pressure or comparison.
If you’re unsure, you’re not alone! You can fill out an interest form, and I’ll help guide you to the best fit based on your child’s current stage and skills.
Enhanced enrollment includes the standard 3-week class series enrollment and a Personalized Activity Guide designed to serve as a reference for the key concepts and activities explored during class, while providing individualized movement-based play ideas to help support your child's continued development at home.
Just a few simple things—bring a blanket or towel for your child, water for yourself, and anything your child might need during that time (diaper bag, snacks, etc.). Come comfortable and ready to play.
Yes! Caregiver participation is a big part of each session. You’ll be guided through activities so you can learn how to support your child during class and carry those ideas over at home.
That’s completely normal. Babies and toddlers have their own rhythms, and there’s no expectation for them to “perform.” You’re always welcome to take breaks, observe, or rejoin when it feels right.
One of the best parts of these classes is that everything we cover can be taken home and applied in a way that works best for your child. If it’s not the right moment during class, you’ll still leave with tools and ideas you can use when your little one is more ready to engage.
Classes are intentionally kept small (up to 6 children) to allow for individualized guidance and a supportive, calm environment.
Classes are currently held at Just Like Grammy & Poppop’s in Pewaukee, a cozy and welcoming space for families.
As interest grows, additional locations may be added to better meet the needs of the community. If you would like to request a class closer to home, please fill out an interest form.
You’ll be the first to hear about upcoming class sessions, schedules, and registration details. When spots open, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for the class that fits your schedule.
